The Functional Party of Struggle ((インドネシア語:Partai Karya Perjuangan, Pakar Pangan)) is a political party in Indonesia. It contested the 2009 elections, but received only 0.3 percent of the vote, well below the threshold of 2.5% of the political votes, and was awarded no seats in the People's Representative Council. 〔 ''Profil Partai Politik'' (Profile of Political Parties), ''Kompas'' newspaper 14 July 2008 pp. 38-39〕 The party was established by Lt. Gen (ret) Muhammad Yasin and members of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's 2004 election campaign team. Most of its election candidates were retired military officers.〔 ''Tempo'' magazine No. 0931/March 31-April 06, 2009, p.31〕 ==Regional strength== In the legislative election held on 9 April 2009, support for Pakar Pangan was higher than the party's national average in the following provinces: North Sumatra 0.4% West Sumatra 0.3% Bengkulu 0.4% Riau 0.5% South Sumatra 0.5% Lampung 0.3% West Kalimantan 0.8% Central Kalimantan 0.5% South Kalimantan 0.4% Bali 0.4% East Nusa Tenggara 2.1% Central Sulawesi 0.8% South Sulawesi 0.5% South East Sulawesi 0.4% Maluku 0.6% North Maluku 0.4% West Papua 0.7% Papua 1.2%
